COVID-19: Quarantine instructions
What you must do if you have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) or after entering Switzerland from a country or area with an increased risk of infectionValid from 23.10.2020
You have been in close contact with a person with a laboratory-confirmed new coronavirus infection.
"Close contact" means that you were close to the infected person for more than 15 minutes (less than 1.5 metres away) and without protection (hygiene mask or physical barrier such as Plexiglas panel). If this person was contagious during contact, you must be quarantined at home for 10 days.
The competent cantonal service will contact you and give you further information and instructions.
